Armchair Coder

Armchair Coder projects are projects that I work on in my spare time or on the weekends as time permits. These projects give me the opportunity to keep my skills fresh since I don't get to use them on a daily basis.

I'm a technologist by trade, but I've always had an interest in software development, UX design, and usability. I write code primarily in C#, but also do development in PowerShell, PHP, ASP.NET, and Visual Basic when needed.

I try to share what I've learned by posting my code to Github. Not everything I work on is there, but I'm working on moving some of my more recent projects up there and available for others to learn themselves or build upon.

You can see the various projects I'm working on are available using the top navigation of this site.

About JB

I've been a technologist for over 20 years, getting my start in IT with a large Fortune 100 international retailer in the 1990s. I love to talk about new technology, mobile devices, software development, photography, and the weather.  The opinions expressed on this blog are my own.
