Hi, I’m Justin … I have a healthy addiction to gadgets, new technology, and figuring out how things work. I’m fortunate to be able to do some of this as part of my job. I use this space to talk about the things that excite me, disappoint me, and other things I’d just like to share with others.
I’ve been blogging off and on for the last 10 years. I talk about a lot of different things, but try to focus on a few of my favorites like technology, gadgets, weather, and software development.
I’ve been working in technology over 20 years. I’ve spent time working in IT architecting and managing environments for messaging, file and print, as well as proxy servers. I’ve worked on the “vendor side”, management relationships with customers large and small, and I’ve also been in technical sales/marketing and engineering.
Nowadays, I spend my days working on storage solutions. I’m passionate about software applications and working to provide the best experience for my customers through the solutions that we deliver. I fully believe in the Bill Gates’ principle of “your most unhappy customers are your greatest source of learning.”
I like to spend my spare time writing code and building apps to problems I’ve encountered. You can learn more about that in the “Armchair Coder” part of my site. I have also been running a weather website, weathernerd.com for over 15 years, where I incorporate a couple of my hobbies: writing code and meteorology.
Thanks for stopping by. If you have questions, comments, suggestions, or just need to get a hold of me, you can do that here.
