Concurrent Downloads in IE

Ever noticed that on a default installation of Internet Explorer that you can only have two concurrent downloads?

According to the Microsoft Knowledge Base Article 183110, this is to maintain compliance with HTTP specifications.

WinInet limits the number of simultaneous connections that it makes to a single HTTP server. If you exceed this limit, the requests block until one of the current connections has completed. This is by design and is in agreement with the HTTP specification and industry standards.

The KB gives you steps you can take to increase the number of concurrent downloads  (connections).  This involves editing the registry, so be cautious.

Hi. this is kind of an "unconventional" question , but have other visitors asked you how get the menu bar to look like you've got it? I also have a blog and am really looking to alter around the theme, however am scared to death to mess with it for fear of the search engines punishing me. I am very new to all of this ...so i am just not positive exactly how to try to to it all yet. I'll just keep working on it one day at a time.

What you said made a lot of sense.  But, think about this, what if you added a little content?  I mean, I dont want to tell you how to run your blog, but what if you added something to maybe get peoples attention?  Just like a video or a picture or two to get people excited about what youve got to say.  In my opinion, it would make your blog come to life a little bit.
